Use pepper. I was told to try it awhile back since mine leaked and tried it out and it sealed it completely. Of course I did not have a HUGE leak but I had a leak and it worked. Sounds like it would not work but just try it. Like everybody says just fix it.. If you know anybody with a torch,flux, and solder im sure you can fix it pretty easy.. It all depends on the leak as well.
