Re: Random Thoughts ThreadNot sure how long you have been there, but the way I got the OGs where I work to respect me, was working side by side with them, picking my battles and when it came down to exercising my authority, I did it with respect. Kindness does not equal weakness. My guys know I am willing to do anything for them and will bust my tail right beside them, but If I say something they better listen. If they disagree, they best do it respectfully and all will be well. They have been there for so long because they are probably good at what they do, so you could probably learn from them. Old people eat that up.
