Yeah Kelly, did I call you when i saw it or just after but that time I was at the scraper. Literally 10 minutes before 2 18 wheelers unloaded 6 oilfield trucks for crushing and shredding. All 6 where '90-91 Chevy Crewcab Single wheel 4x4 1-tons. All in damn good shape. But the oil co. must have hit the expected life cycle and replaced them.
I begged the scrap owner to sell them to me at what he paid, and I would yank the axles, and transfers and return them. No go, Texas Law, if it hits the dirt at a scrap facility it is scrap from that second on. Society or whatever can not reclaim it.
Talk about holy ****. Watching the magnet lift pick them up and drop them in the chipper was almost too much to bear.
