I've got a lot of travel in my rear, leaf spring with relocated shackles and a long shackle, and when it unloads like on a hill when the frame is on the ground my pinion angle goes all to **** and spits out u-joints. On flat ground the angle is about perfect and if only one side is up or down it's not an issue but when the rear droops pop, time for a new joint. Short of building some sort of traction bar which would limit articulation what are my options? I was thinking maybe a limit strap dead center so it can still have plenty of movement on the hub end but the center would stay relatively in place. Thought?

Slip and twist traction bar will not limit hub flex but will keep your driveshaft joints alive.

Is that the type that mounts on two spots on the axle, upper and lower, and one on the body running parallel with the drive shaft? Building a mount on the body would be the fun part.

One heim and two sets of bushings is all you need unless you just want to run heims. Krackem has a thread with pics and some cool info
