ok people taking you advice here and checkin it all... Just orderd my restrictor kit it will b in friday aft. also got some advice from the boys at Pirate and a race shop here. You are all right..
without "purging correctly" which means u need to have a prge valve near or around the thermostat housing not puging correctly= "causes hot spots"
using purified water with minimum antifreeze= the better of the thermal transfer capabilities for a coolant combo. and more enviro friendly
cleaning out the system with an acid you can get from a autoparts store makes sure that that dam radiator is clean...
BUT this is where it can get complicated...The volume and speed of which the coolant system operates and gets its ability to create heat transfer IN the radiator is very high. It has been described to me as a fire hose hitting a brick wall. pretty pictue huh?
Which is why i wonder about the restrictor and worry about the pump? ANY MORE THOUGHTS HERE???? Is THere an inline helper pump ???
