rear pinion angle

Setting up the rear pinion with a cv drive shaft and my question is should the pinion point at the T case out put flange or slightly below it. I got the spring pads tacked to the axles were the drive line angle is just a little below the out put flange nut.

Try to go like 1-2 degrees down--so under accel when the pinion rises a bit you won't get that typical rumble noise...
 
I am at that angle now ,Thanks. I got axles coming from Currie and I'll install the rear disc brakes this week.
