In a rear radiator mounted at an angle have to have a bleeder valve of some sort on the top of the tank? The filler neck is pretty close to a high point in the system

google spill proof funnel. I use on at home at work. Do very well for the price.

I have seen those they are cool. So if I use one of those I shouldn't have any issues getting air out of my system? I have never dealt with a rear mount radiator is why I have the questions.

Should I put a schrader valve on my water pump to bleed air from that side of the system?

It puts the highest point in the system your radiator cap so it should "burp" itself in theory. With all the threads on LS engines having the air pockets I have never said much about this. My 97 vortec 5.7 has a rear radiator. I put the funnel on the radiator and let it idle for about 10 minutes. I have never had a problem. At work I put it on and let it idle until the coolant in the funnel gets warm. Never had a car come back for an air pocket.

Ive been running a rear radiator for years and have bled my old 4.3l and now my 6.ol a few times now.

Follow these steps:
1. Find a hill/mound of dirt (Or steep incline)
2. Reverse rig up said hill
3. fill radiator
4. crank over engine (not start)
5. Top off radiator
6. Start engine for a few minutes with radiator cap off
7. Fill radiator as needed.
8. Turn off engine and let it sit for a few minutes
9. Fill as needed
10. Get back on level ground
11. re-check fluid level and add if needed
12. Profit.
