Rebuilding My 84 Jimmy

Well I have a 1984 GMC Jimmy that went threw major hell and back. This is my first truck/vehicle I got to call my own. I love it and will NEVER get rid of it no matter what kind of damage. Lots of memories.

From ending up in a deep ditch destroying the door and rear corner panal

To using the last of its 700R Tranny and gutless 305 in this soupy mud wih street tires

She looked great when I got er 2 years ago, I knew all 4 owners, it never left Ravensdale/maple valley/covington area when it was sold

I recently ripped all the carpet out and found many holes.

Soon ill be taking the top off and pressure watching this son of a b### to hell to get it clean for its new 454 and 400R. Ill be updating quite often.

What im getting to make it as big and bad as big blue
35" Mudders
454 Big Block
400R Turbo Tranny
Not sure what kind of lockers
It has a 3" Body lift but im getting a 2" Suspension
So far thats it

Finally!! Strartin to clean uo the rig for its engine swap and tranny swap.

Sittin in the sun....

I forgot that the firewalls were black, mud in there for way to long

Ill be putting diomand plate along the sides

Im trying to figure out how to patch these 2 wholes, please help, what should I do, first pics in right in front of the pedals
and the 2nd pics is right behind the back seet, check out that nice 32" tire.........

And I took the top off, removed the not atatched roll bar for more room to move around while workin

Put more thought into whats going to be happening

Putting 454 In
Turbo 400 Tranny
35" Mudders
Rear Shackle Flip
New front springs
Diomand Plate Inside
Carpet Cab
New Dash Pad
Adjust Roll Bar So It Fits
Either Half Doors or Tubed Doors
Remove Rear Bumper and Trailer Hitch
Might Get Rid Of Tail Gate
New Front Seats

Things I Need.
Passenger door mirror
Fairly new 35" Mudders

Well, cleaned out the rest of the truck besides the driver seat, just checkin it out. Gonna put Bratt Seats in the back

I let this thing sit for to long. Time to get workin.

I found a dana 70 and dana 60 with sprins, both 456 gears for $700, is that a good price? If so, im gonna get them and take the truck to my buddies shop and we are gonna get working!
