red labels or blue ??????

so a buddy of mine just bought a rig and it has bfg crawlers. is there a way to tell if there red or blue label on the tire?

reds are not DOT approved. They will not have a DOT stamp on the side of them. Are they 39's? If so they are Red, unless you got a set of the Peterson's UA batch from a while back. Highly unlikely unless the jeep is tan and use to be Bailey's! :****:

ok thanks very much they are 37 on a yota. we r going for a night cruz friday night if anyone is intrested

If they are reds, they should have "Not For Highway Use" stamped on the sidewall...
