So the old lady's car is getting on in years and I think she may end up needing one some time in the near future. So I am thinking I have always wanted something like a cab truck. Just wandering can't be to hard to make a cool little crawler out of this.....

It is 2 WD so the hardest thing will be mating a transfer case to the transmission but I was thinking 60" with 6.17s welded and maybe some 42's. Full hydro and a nice little exo cage. What ya ll thank - note this is an old picture and this thing is not quite in this shape now so please don't heckle me for trying to take my wife's car away for here to build myself a toy molaugh

So what ya ll think

might be fun to go a lil smaller than a 42.. like a 37 or somethin.. smaller scale trail rig... use a divorced transfer case and you should be golden!

Well I am not worried about it being streetable at all so the 37's may be a bit small. But strecth it out about 6' in the front maybey a little in the rear.

**** I'm thinking new rock toy for minimal coin and it will have HEAT dammit

what kinda power in that thanggg... v6?

Yup I agree with ya on that one...that would be a damn cool rig IMO...Im wanting to do an extended cab ranger the same way. thumb.gif

Amber has an 00 S-Blazer that would look real nice on some 3/4T's with heat and air.... maybe next year Ill get started on something like that once we get her a new whip ! :woody:

I'm picking up my street crawlaaa this weekend.... 87 4Runner straight body, very little rust, no motor $150 :drinkers: (well after i part a few things off on it to a friend)... yep missing fender but I have 2 perfect fenders for that bodystyle sittin at my parent's place loller.gif

Also I have a FJ40 front axle I may use since it'd be free, I just would need to put minitruck knuckles/ hubs on it so I would be able to do the right sturr'n... We'll see.

It will sit for probably a year or more in my backyard while I figure out what to do with it...
