This probably belongs here more than the legislative update, since its calling for a meeting I'd put it here so more people see it

Workshop: Help Plan Trails and Restoration Projects

DNR

:awesomework:...

One thing gets me though, the Forest Watch Program requires a background check, meaning clean record....and I'm sure there are folks out there more than willing to help out that can't due to something they did years ago and have already paid their dues; yet we have a bunch of crooks running the country right into the very ground we're out there volunteering to protect....... (rant off!)

I just sent an email to David Way. I want to a part of this new Reiter era.

Watch out bad guys......:whip:

And.....I'll be at the 13th meeting.

Hi All:

Yeah, I wondered at that "back ground check" requirement as well Kev. Seems rather unnecessary to me.

Regards,

Alan

Also on the subject of forrest watch...Until the trails are reopened they only want forrest watch on the FS type roads which means you have to have a street legal rig.
I'll be at the meeting on the 30th to learn more.

Participate in vehicle patrols on authorized forest roads, refraining from off road patrols until recreational trails are opened.

Yeah Rick, Japerry and I were looking for this thread last night, and took us about 10 minutes, and he started it!!!:redneck:
