I've got Monday off this week. So I was thinking about heading out to Reiter. Rig is stock YJ no winch. Which, if any trails would be safe for me to play on? I was planning on 10:30 or 11 ish.

Just want to bump around a bit with the family. I have no experience.

Like to go with someone but don't want to ruin there fun. I know what it's like to be stuck on the bunny slopes if you can do the double diamonds.

Anything under the power lines and you will be fine. If you drive up reiter road to the second parking area, there are lots of places to dink around under the powerlines and you can have some fun.

yea, the powerlines are pretty harmless. You shouldn't run int too much trouble over there. I would go out to wheel with you and show you some fun parts but I have work to do :booo: here's a map

Sweet!! Thanks!:awesomework: This map has some stuff the one I found does not.

Normally I work M-F. But it's the slow season and hours have been cut. More time to play!!:redneck::redneck:

just remember not to hit any of the hard trails with a stocker cause you could have a really bad day. If it looks sketchy than DON'T GO DOWN IT. There are usually places to turn around if you can't make it. Try to find someone to go with you, I never wheel alone without a winch cause there is no way to get unstuck unless you are really lucky and someone stumbles upon you while wheelin' on a monday which doesn't happen very much.... But try to have some fun:D

I'll be up there around 10:00 I wouldn't take a stock rig on the trails I plan on running but I'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

I'll be in a black yj hard top. Probably wont make it up there until after ten though. If your still about any help would be appreciated. :clappy: I'm going to take Karl's advice and stick to the power lines.

(saw your post but didn't want to be a bother)

If anyone sees me somewhere I shouldn't be or heading down the wrong trail PLEASE TELL ME!! I've got a good amount of sense but I'm new to wheeling. So school me if needed.:redneck:

Why is Tight Ass listed on that map...it's closed!

Nothing better than giving directions to people to trails that were closed by the DNR & Fish & Wildlife

Just got back. Thanks for the info and advise. We didn't go very far but we had fun playing under the power lines. and a short distance on a trail until it got narrow and slanted. I chickened out and turned around.:redneck:

Think I'm in trouble though. Let the wife drive:mad::mad:. She likes it!! I hope I get a chance to drive once in a while.:mad::redneck::D:redneck::D

I need to head up there with someone like you.. I don't really want to go with everyone I know, because I'd slow them WAY down... plus the trails I'd take are just flat out boring for them.

That would be cool:awesomework::awesomework::awesomework:. It would be nice to go with someone who has seen the area more then me. Not sure when I'll be able to go next. Family and ham club stuff. Maybe the end of the month. We'll see when it gets closer.

We were only there for an hour and a half-ish:booo:. Our two year old had enough. Considering it took us almost two hours to run our errands and get up there, he did pretty good.

Saw a young guy in an oldish ford or chevy pickup and some MX-ers thats about it. Thanks for lookin though.
