remote radiator size (dim's)

what size radiator can i get away with using in the bed (or what's left of it) of my truck? I have a 350 V8 I have a couple regular size radiators, but was maybe wanting to go with something a little more compact...

I wouldn't go smaller than a 22x19 core size. I have a 18x17 core up front and it's barely adequate.

ok, so i could prolly just use what i have and be ok, and it'd be cheaper to replace then...

I'm running my stock radiator in the bed for my 305 SBC and it gets the job done but I'm running with out a thermo-stat until I figure out what gremlins are making it over heat with a thermostat in.

air pockets perhaps??? i hear that if the lines aren't properly purged that there will still be little pockets of air in the lines...
