renovation forums? good sources for info?

I don't wanna post all my boring questions, etc. up here. Y'all will get sick of it real quick if ya haven't already.... SOOO I'm tryin to find a forum that's all about the remodeling stuff... Any links to sites are appreciaated. I have done the google thing and end up nowhere fast.

Few things I'm tryin to research---concrete countertops is one. I know the garage journal is AWESOME for shops---but looking for somewhere to search what other folks have done stuff to get ideas/gain more direction for my bachelor-pad gut and re-do... Greg had an awesome idea for finishing my current cabinets and I think we're gonna run with that idea--base/clear/polish them with automotive paint and put silver hardware on them... I'm thinkin that concrete countertops would give me some flexibility and be different/cool so that's what I'm tryin to figger out right now. ALOT more stuff to come so just tryin to find a non-HGTV site to search/post on! Thanks in advance...

the concrete counter tops are expensive as hell, if I'm not mistaking you can almost get the granite tops cheaper. I'm a DIY channel freak.
