Im looking for a reputable engine builder somewhere around the north ms, south tn, north al, area. My engine in my rhino is about done getting about the same oil and fuel mileage lol. Im wanting to build a 686 and do some other stuff to squeeze some more power out of the classic. Its a 06 660. I have searched alittle and everyone i found is just the shadetree mechanics and all the people who really build them and make power out of them are out west and i really dont wanna crate her up and send her out that way. Anyone know a good shop or builder?

There is a guy in Marietta, GA that built my buddy's RZR turbo stroker motor. I don't know if he messes with Rhinos or not, I can get his contact info if you are interested in asking him :dblthumb:

If all you're wanting is a 686 and the bottom end doesn't need an overhaul you could probably do it yourself. I bought a 686 jug and piston and a stage 1 cam and it made a world of difference. It was kind of a pain when it came to the timing chain but if I can do it just about anybody can.

If it were just going to a 686 I would do it myself but I'm gunna have the cases split and middle drive gear beefed up. My trans also needs freshin up keeps jumping out of reverse and I'm gunna replace all the wet clutch assembly. Then I plan to port the exhaust side on the head cam and 686 11to1 or so.. trying to keep up with these rzrs in my dinasoar of a sxs :driving:

Give me a shout, we have done a few. We have had good luck using Trinity Racing's Products.
