Anybody been up there lately? I am thinking about going up there on Memorial day, and am curious about the conditions?

There is some stuff down lower that would be clear, but most of the good trails are higher elevation and will still have snow on them.

Pretty much what I figuired. thanks

Run Saide creek with me. You'll like it even in a buggy. Or bring that CJ project your working on. I dont know if anyone else will be up there and I really dont feel like running that trail alone.

I will take you up on the sadie trail another time. I will most likely be leaving the S&N Buggy home, and taking the family rig out instead to wherever I go if its a mudfest. Too much cleanup.

Still planning on Rim rock? Speaking of mud, you probably wouldn;t want to bring the buggy then. There is a few muddy area's and with all the rain we had this year, I have a feeling that trail is going to be a bitch.

Sadie creek doesn't get run by a lot of people. So it stays fresh, overgrown, and very likeable. Hopefully like last year I will run into a few people to tag along with.

No yur more than welcome to come. I'm not staying ina hotel. We have reservations at the camp ground at Lake crescent. But last the guys I met up with camped right at the stagging area. They said the DNR said it was ok as long as they picked up thier mess.

As wet as this year has been I think my winch will be pulled a few times. Last year I pulled cable on the last hill, but that was because my posi-lock broke and I only had 3 wheel drive. The same hill one of the other guys with us blew a u-joint in thier drive shaft. It's pretty steep and slides to the right. So have a turbo installed on that fawker and bring a heavy foot. :D

As far as maps, There isn't one, that I know of. I just know how to get there.

top of butcher knife and short and dirty both are covered in snow, lower prickle prairie and spencer creek are freshly thawed and muddy as hell!!!

Mike, for reference, we ran Pickle Prarie and Louie Way last year. Conditions now would be a little snowier than April 1 last year down that low and severely snowier up high. If you head over that way, let me know. . .I just got back from the other side of that ridge and am already itchin' to go wheelin' some more.
