Rock Rings ?

Has anybody seen the 40 inch swampers on CL with "rock rings" for $375.00 for all four. Are they bead locks? or? what are rock rings?

They are beadlock type wheel.....A rock ring is to protect the valve stem and hub....it is also great for holding lot's of mud inside your rim.

The ones on Craigslist don't look like beadlocks though. Its just the rim strengthener that welds in. It would be a ok deal if they weren't 16.5" wheels

The rock rings are from Great Lakes Offroad and were ment for 12 bolt H-1 wheels, but he put them on his non beadlock rims for the H-1 look.

Correct.. Rock Rings are Not Bead Locks. They strengthen the rim but have nothing to do with keeping the tire on the bead. And Yes,, They do hold mud.
