SSSS is worth a lot more, and is heavier, and if you are new, harder to work with.because stainless steel is full of chromium and chromium is very very heavy! SS is less forgiving when being over heated. When stainless comes in contact with non-stainless steel (or non-stainless steel lil flake from a shop) it will rust. Also welding set ups can be harder (not standard rods)go with steel, rattle can it back, and buy some :beer: with the money you didn't waste.... just my 2cpps SS is my favorite thing to weld after saying all thatps SS = stainless steel
