How much is a 2.5 rockwell rear worth? It's just a stock pull out.. also what would a rockwell 3rd member bring?? I found a set and all I need is the knuckles.

I need to know what they would bring in a timely manner I don't need the stuff laying in my yard and I'm in a hurry to get my front axle done. im a broke ninja with a bouncer problem lol

In FL or other mud country a rear will bring $250 - $450. Anywhere else $100 - $250.

Third members anywhere from $0 - $150.

I drove by a 1990's Dodge pulling about a 30' trailer full of nothing but rockwells the other day on the highway. Full front to back, about 4' high, just stacked on top of each other. He couldn't go faster than about 50mph and he had a 2-car police escort for some reason. I guess because he was going 50mph in a 70 zone. He had at least 30 axles, mix of fronts and rear. So I guess that's about 20,000 lbs of axles!

About a year before that I saw a similar truck on the same stretch of I10 stuck. He had pulled off the side of the road and I guess the grass was wet and he slid down the embankment sideways. Surprisingly he didn't flip but he couldn't get back up because there was no traction. He was close enough to the highway to where I could have stayed on the pavement to pull him back up though so I went back to offer. I had a tow strap with me, I was in my 4x4 Cummins, no trailer, didn't get any more perfect than that. He wouldn't let me. Said he was waiting on a big-rig tow truck to pull him out. It was about a 3-minute extraction to me. Oh well. Guess I won't try to be nice from now on.

I don't know why told those stories. :)

I can't seen to find anywhere to buy just the knuckles I tried that red river place u suggested and can't get anyone to answer the phone.im gonna try them agin in the morning and a place I found in Memphis tn if that don't work out I guess I'm gonna buy this set and the front I've found needs a spindle and hub but I can pick that stuff up from ebay.

You tried 903-547-2226? Blake was my contact there. I hope they're not closed down.

I've got a hub you can have for the cost of shipping if you end up needing one.

Yes that's the number I called 3 times last week maybe they were closed???? I will try them in the morning and report back..

I haven't been able to get a hold of ANY vendor the past 2 weeks. I think the holidays are basically ****-off time for small business man-toy vendors. A lot of the industrial supply type places I do business with just closed down for 2 weeks straight. Must be nice!

We worked xmas eve and got cussed out by 3 different customers for closing early. Got to love the Christmas Spirit! (We worked New Year's Eve as well but stayed open normal hours, so no reason to cuss us that night.)

Hum. I've bought two Polaris Rangers from outer limits when I'm in the area. Never been to cyclewerkz. I rented out the off road park for a day to let my crew ride the zip line. I'll have to look you up this summer.
I have no way of getting up there I'm in Florida but I would take an extra 3rd off your hands.

This mean we are fixing to see a hybrid front axle build?

Don't know where in FL you are. (Your sig says you're in AL.) But I am probably going to make a run to Atlanta later this month if I can help facilitate anything. I'm in Gulf Breeze, FL.

I rent a house near Orlando ( Haines city) for 3 months every year in winter. For "business".
I drive back and forth to bham about once every two weeks. I had tire trouble on my way home last week and pulled into a tire shop and seen a "rib shack" one near McDonough Ga. But had just ate.

There's two Shane's Rib Shacks in McDonough, both owned by Shane himself still. One of them is the original shack with just a single communal outhouse as a restroom for both boys and girls and no indoor seating. :eat: This shack is still the most successful store in the entire system.

Yep, that's the one on Hwy. 155, built in an old house, I still remember when it first opened, they used to pile enough pork on a sandwhich to make 3 of them, used to go in and order one, and 2 extra pieces of BBQ bread. Haven't been in the original in several years since they opened one a few minutes from the house. Do you own a Shanes Patooyee?

I remember when the original first opened up too. I was in the high school behind it, we would walk up and eat there almost every day. I think there are 4 Shane's in McDonough now?

You're right, they're up to 4 in McD now. Didn't realize that. Not sure which other than the original Shane still owns then.

Yes, my family and I own 2 Shane's Rib Shacks. We're outliers down here in FL so its hard for me to keep track of the GA stores. There's 30 or 40 stores in GA, only 5 in FL.
