Rocky Yuppie / Getting new dash and console

Well I broke down and started the build I have wanted to do on my interior. In keeping with the BMW hood, I have built a fiber glass dash and console. The dash and console sides are cover with black leather. and the console face is 1/8" aluminum covered with wood grain. It should be durable and help add a finished look to the interior. I have still got to finish the shifter boots, which will also be made of black leather. Here's some picture I shot earlier.

Rum spill tested already my friend. It held up so well, that I mixed another one a little stronger and continued to sit in my buggy, inside my shop listening to the ipod playing through the indash stereo with the garage doors closed. Yes it is, no moving parts. Next timeI am up there, get with me on music. I have a BUNCH on the laptop we can put on the iPod. Let's just say, you can go over a month 24/7 and never repeat on the laptop!!!!!

Nice Bob! But is the wood teak?

Teak? I don't know. My buddy Robby Hall that rode with me at River Rock was telling everybody that it was Mahogany wood with Italian Lizard skin on the dash and console sides. Sounded good to me without rum drinks so It's Mahogany and Italian Lizard Skin. ;D
