ok so heres my question I went to mount my radiatior on the back of my buggy and realized because its at the back of the buggy the holes are opposite they are in the front. So typically in the front the coolant flows into the top of the radiator and out the bottom on the other side. But with the rad switched the coolant would run out the top and in the bottom. So my question is do you get a custom radiator? Or cut the tubs off and reweld them in the proper orientation? Or just let the coolant flow in the bottom and get sucked out the top?

Re:

If you have a Chevy, get a Ford radiator (or vice versa). Or mount it with the necks facing toward the back of the buggy (what most people do)

You have to hook it up the same, where the hot comes in the top and has time to cool before gravity and the pump pulling pulls it back out the bottom. If you try to make it suck back out of the top it would be bad.I always put them where the outlets are pointing towards the rear of the buggy, that way you have more room to route your hoses.

This exactly. It will overheat if you try to run it from bottom to top. Water pumps tries to suck water from the air pocket in the top of the radiator.

I guess I didn't really have a problem with this. I ran my hoses down one side of my chassis all the way to the back and routed my upper hose accordingly across the front side of my radiator. Runnin 5 years now

I have some pics if you want

pictures would be awesome. I didnt even think to buy a ford radiator. I wouldnt mind welding some new tubes on either then I can angle them like I need.
