RV awning???

I have a couple of awnings I'm putting on the bus... Never installed one before... Looks pretty straight forward...

Is there anything I should know that might be easy to over look??? Should I install the rail first then slide the awning into it or have the awning already on the rail and install them together???

What will I need to do to set tension???

install the awning rail first and then slide the roller tube and fabric into the the rail(a good friend will be needed) then mount your hardware(arms). It should not need to be tensioned(if has not be unraveled)

and make sure that your hardware (leg mounts) are mounted on the same plane.. ie. parallel to your rail... otherwise they just don't roll up or sit quite right when opened...
