This is my first build up so I'm figurin most of this **** as I go . But hell that's the fun part of it
Still have a lot of work to do on it but not too far from takin a test run
Man its gonna be a bad ass rig. Rockwells are monsters. Ur four link looks good to. I'm having to rebuild my crossmember so I got a place to run my lower links. It been a job so far. But like u said that's the fun part of.
Haha thanks hell after all the head scratchin I've done over the last few months, I might keeper a day or 2 when I'm done. Eventually I wanna put a colorado crew cab on it but hell who knows I change my mind every other day
Yea man my crossmembers are gonna be hangin kinda low but it'll be a good surface for a belly skid. I've never done a 4 link before this one but I cycled it and it seems to do what its supposed to. I went with that setup due to too damn many clearance issues up front. Guess well find out before too long
I like it. The only thing you may want to consider is the lowers on the axle on the front 4 link. The rule of thumb is at least the centerline of the axle tube like your rear is but if you gusset it good it may not give you any issues. And I could be wrong about that. Keep it up and you'll be riding in no time. I've only gotten to ride my new rig once but it defiantly made all that hard work worth it.
Ya I can imagine the clearance issues with rockwells. Lol. I'm having them with a full size Chevy frame running Dana 60s. I tried using the factory cross member but I couldn't find a good spot to run my lower links to. So I ripped it out and I'm building one out of 5/8" plate. 2.5" wide and bracing it up real good. I raised my tcase up two inches and now I got a good place to run lower links. Its a lot of work.
