I'm working on doing a disc brake conversion on my rear sami axle, and was wondering who has done this and where did you get the drums machined down at for the adapters. I don't want to spend the money on the spidertrax adapters, so if anyone has had their drums machined down, where did you get it done? Also if anyone local has a lathe and could do this for me, how much would you charge? Drum needs to be machined down to a disc to fit into stock sami rotor.

I ran a rear disc set up for a number of years. Used sammi calipers and discs. Had a buddy machine down the drums.

Check w/ Unlcle T on the WaZuks board-he has a friend that can do it. He would probably do it while you wait. I think he is located in Renton area.

Yep, that's exactly how I'm doing it, just the caliper brackets, calipers, and rotor from a front axle, and need to machine the drums.

I don't think Uncle T is an option, cause I'm still waiting on my diff guards.
