So we took my junk down to Dannys place in Florette to give it another test run. I learned a few more things about my new set up. Many of you have wheeled that hill side in the KOTH comp in August. I highly reccomend giving it a shot this time of year when EVERY thing sticks to your tires EXCEPT the rocks! So anyway here are a couple of pics...and if anyone questions the strength of a T-Max winch....Dont cause I Absolutely tortured mine on Sat... ;D

looks muddy and full of leafs. wanted to go but i went outta town with the girlfriend.... :indianajones:

did you just do the comp side? or the other back trails?

Yup, mud definitely hindered forward progress...that is untill ya stick it in 2nd and let er dig... ;D.....I REALLY Need some better tires...but they were at a good price so :dunno:...We went to that spot over in the cove with my MTR's on and took a look around...I think they did better even with 30psi in them...

Yea...when ya win the lottery go ahead and grab me a set... thumb.gif...and to answer your previous question...we just went up the stair step trail and then played around on the comp course...We didnt get there till like 2 or so.

If you can ever have another rig go and don't mind me tagging around I would like to go check it out. I have seen pictures but have never been.

Sho nuff man, I have just been going on solo runs lately because of the fact that its the rig's first times out. I dont wanna be that guy that is holding everybody up b/c of some bull shiat problem with a new set up.

If you have not rode on the trails in the back you should try them - they are more fun than the course I think.

Yea they are pretty fun on the back side but we kinda ran out of daylight and I was getting tired of fightin a 5spd and IROKS ::) It was damn wet up there so Im not sure if any tire would have done that much better. It was a good trip though. I am startin to get used to the new set up and its handling.

Don't get down on the tires to bad man - that course is tough when it it dry much less wet. I ride with several folks that run the IROKS and they love them. I just don't think you can beat a good set of TSL's however for big tires anyway.

Yea that is Very true...If I had beadlocks it would definitely help as well...

If you had BL's youd probably be pretty happy with the Irok's They love 5psi. :afro:

it really needs a set of 38in sx's...they'd be badass on a 15 or 16x8....

and if anyone wants to go on a ride at danny's just PM me and i'll be more than happy to meet you out there and show you around...there's ALOT more to that place than people think....but it is pretty rough!
