Got 2 kids coming of age and like the ideal of seat belts and cage. Will have to be used $$$$ is tight. Anyone have first hand experience? What to look for buying used? Thanks

I've got one for the kids and they drive the **** out of it and so do I :****: ours has the big wheel kit on it with all the accessories front bumper and soft top and shinny aluminum wheels and bigger tires and a cog change to compensate and it has been flawless other than rear axel bearings but that's cheap but don't buy any replacements from Polaris they are three times higher on little bearings and brakes. You will be surprised at how well it will pull you around I've even took the little one up big climbs with ease because it sits low. It also has a throttle stop bolt so you can quiet the skinny peddle and it has adjustable driver seat and shoulder bets and the steering column tilts with a bolt hole swap I've got videos of mine at badbuggies on you tube good luck with the purchase.

Not mine. Just saw it for sale.

2010 Polaris RZR 170 . One owner. Runs perfect. Asking 2500 or best offer. Call 706-333-0829

Nice. Going to finish my build before I pop for the kids. But thanks for looking out. Maybe for Christmas.
Nobody has anything negative to say about them?

a buddy of mine bought one for his son and it seems to stay broke more than it runs. kid is pretty rough on **** tho

I got my kids one of the knock offs from a local rv dealer. It has the exact same components as the polaris and does have the honda based gy6 engine. Im 230 pounds and was clocked at 40 mph. I redid the intake, drilled the exhaustt out, and adjusted the throttle cable so as soon as u hit the gas it goes. My 7yo daughter scares me in it lol.

My brother works at a farm and his boss has one for his kids. He said its a fun and quick for a 170 but a bitch to get started for the first time everyday. Its kept in a heated garage and since new its taken 10-15min of dicking with it to get running but starts fine the rest of the day.

Ours starts up fine but if it sits for a week or two you have to pull the choke on it usually not a big deal but if the kids try and start it it will flood then it's a little hard to get started but no big deal

was it the pitster pro? How much?

No its the odes 150. I give $2800 out the door. Ive modded the hell out if it and it will scoot! My kids have rode trail 16 and 2 at windrock several times.

Been trying to find a used rzr 170 somewhat locally and having no luck. Went to dealer and they have 1 left for $4295 but with crate fees and doc fees its $5000 plus tax!
Anyone else have any experience with the "knock off" rzr's? I bought a chineese atv years back and basically threw my money away. Always broke and wouldnt run. I have always believed in buying named brand but seen some look a like 170s new for $2500

Yep just read into that....they are all chineese made apparently. The avenger 150 seems to have good reviews and performance upgrades available. Also has the honda style gy6 engine

well went and priced a new Polaris rzr 170... after tax and doc fees....right at 5k out the door..... picked up this little guy brand new for $2400!!! a guy took 2 of these on trade and assembled them just to sell. Its a exact replica of the Polaris but this one has dual A-arm suspension and is a 180cc. Seems well built also. I jumped in it with my son and it pulls both of us great and has lots of power. Gona add some 23" tires, 4 point harnesses and 2" wheel spacers
