I want to start working on a cage soon, and my (for me) biggest hurdle in my head is how to mount my corbeau SS with sliders to a cage. Should I even try to use the sliders? Or just hard mount the seats, I know that would be the sturdiest and safest, but i like the adjustability.

Anyone (crash, I know i talked to you about this a while back...) have any pics or visual suggestions for me on how to mount them up?!:corn:

Thanks,
Aaron

i don't have any pics but i have SS with sliders, and i plan on using my sliders, do you already have a place to mount the seats(tubes through your cab) to and you are just unsure of how to mount them?

i'm getting ready (sort of) to build the cage, bbut i also want to see how people integrate them into the cage...

i put two bars of 1 1/2" DOM across the chassis then ran four square tubes fore and aft to mount the actual seats to. the square tubes have multiple seat locations built into them. i dont have sliders but want adjustability at least in the driver seat.

attachment.php

kinda shows the mounts for the seats as the seats are not installed yet..

or look back thru some of crashs builds, i dont remember which one but he just redid some seat mounts....

I might have to do what hip or PUO did. I jsut dont want my head rubbing on the roof, I had bought some adapter brackets for the Corbeau Ultra's i have and i just got done emailing a complaint to corbeau about the fact they fit like garbage, and that my head hits the roof when they're "installed" :looser: i'm going to throw the bench back in tonight to get a reference feel for height again and go from there.
