the park is trying to decide if Shamrock ride is going to be on the weekend of march 18-21 or march 25-27. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
 
18-21 is a 3rd weekend, 25-27 is a 4th weekend... isnt MSORP open on the 4th weekend, if so, i say keep it on 18-21...
 
i know we did alot of auction items last year... they seem to really work... it would be great if everyone could hit up there local businesses/ vendors for anything, tools, parts, whatever... im sure we could get a few big ticket items to sell raffle tickets for... john, could you get some tax forms for donation purposes, im sure it would help w/ some of the larger stores... i'll hit up advaced auto, 4 wheel parts, ekeystone and full line exhaust...

Yes, I can get Charitable Donation letters for any interested vendors. They just need to see during the event and I will have mailed to them. Takes about 2-3 weeks from when they get the donation.

Glad this post came up... I will start looking into some donations for the auction down here... I am sure I can rustle something up. We had a great time last year and the auction was a lot of fun. I already have a few new items for you to auction off.. I will get to work on this if you like....
 
remember this is all for charity... i think even if everyone had some gently used parts laying around... clean them up and bring them, rims, axles, gears, tcases, whatever... we all know we have something laying around that we would never miss... i think we could try to spin the auction angle and everyone could bring there stuff and try to get people excited about coming out for the auction... whats everyone think... is there enough interest in bringing good stuff to auction??? i know i have things that i have just been hoarding that i would love to get rid of for a good cause... im sure BTF and WOD probably have returns that are just sitting around that they would get rid of... im just brain storming out loud...

I was thinking the exact same thing but wasn't sure if we could donate some used stuff for John G to auction... If that is the case I am sure I could come up with some stuff for him.. We sure had a lot of fun with the auction last year. We even got Dirty Banker to pay 100 bucks for a set of giant blue balls to hang from his trailer hitch on his jeep...
 
If we do a small comp up the gauntlet or something, im sure i can get some gift cards for the winners. Like always put me down for the raffle as well, ill have some new stuff and may have a set a wheels or something to bring from my test and rebox.

how about some 17x10s with some 35s on them in an 8 lug pattern? preferably black so they look good on a white 2500
