Its not a serious dent but im sure its whats stopping it from compressing by my weight and hands.. I was wondering how bad this is on the inside of the shock if the weight of the right will make it compress and extend?? is it going to kill the shock fast or will it be fine over time its a 5125

I have never had a dent cause this. See if the rod is bent. One of mine had.a bent rod, and would not compress by hand. We straightened it, and now it works again.

Some Bilsteins are rebuildable. I think the ones on my race car are similar to what you have and the rebuild is less than $50 each. I think new rods were around $15.

They have a service center on each coast, but I don't have the contact info handy.

Yeah j just bought them off here a pair for 100$ he said he will give me my money back they were for a friend. Another 50$ for a rebuild and I got a new set so I'll just get the money back..
