Shoulder harness mount

I'm trying to figure out how high or low to mount the bar on my cage for the shoulder harness mounts. How much below the holes in the seat do they need to be. I know if they are too high you can mess up your back and I don't want to weld it in and have to cut it out and weld in another one.

It is unbelievable how often I see bars mounted way too low. Good question though.

The rear mounts or bar needs to be 0-2" below your shoulders. I have slots in my seats for shoulder harnesses be can't use them, they are too low or I'm too tall.

Also, if it's a trail rig it probably won't matter much but think about the passenger...theirs might need to be higher or lower.
I know mine need to be different than my driver in the race rig
