I know alot of yall have young kids, please read:
We just found out what made our baby sick at his stomach. Similac powder formula has been recalled due to bug contamination!!!
If yall use it PLEASE make sure its not contaminated. We have been feeding our son the similac advance thats contaminated for 2 weeks. He has been puking and diareah and hospitalized for 2 days from de-hydration. He was still puking and has diareah today. We are changing his formula to Enfamil and taking him back to the dr. today

Damn that's harsh. Sorry to hear about that as an infant can't tell you these things. How old is he and how soon can you get him on some hard stuff (rice meal, etc.)? The sooner the better. thumb.gif Let us know how things go. G

As of September 20 he is 8 months old. He can eat baby food now, but that doesnt have the nutrician he needs. Our pediatrician says the formula is way more important than the rice and baby foods. We are getting in touch with a lawyer, we have fed this crap to our son for 2 weeks now. We changed his formula this morning to Enfimil and he is already doing so much better.

That is good news he is doing better. I started my son on rice cereal when he was 4-6 months old and he is now 12 years old and 5'11 140 pounds and has not had 1 sick day in his life. :****: AMAZING... Just pointing out that we started him early on and he is healthy. You got to trust your pediatrician as we have and do what's right in your mind. Let's hope he does not have any lingering affects and only temporary discomfort. thumb.gif
