Q1--- Really just how I like to do them. my style/my brain and how it works Q2--- Whats less likely to fail? Straight or "S" if you were to land on your lid? Q3--- I don't know The dash is only trimmed to get the tubing where I want it then it will be notched larger to get it out. Plus the cage will be able to slide back a hair to add to it.
