i seen a xrc8 on my buddies jeep quite working because his 4 mounting bolts where too far apart and it was pulling the ends of the winch apart wich caused the drive gears to dis engauge. was a simple fix, just redrilled the wholes and tightend it back up...it made the winch quite driving like it was kicked in free spool
