on the dodge
hauling scrap sat, 14v the pegging to 19v. go to an idle it comes back down. alt is externally reg'd.....by the pcm. they say if the reg in the pcm goes bad, its bad. this happened like 20 times on sat. hasn't done it since. checked grounds, no hot batteries, etc. couldn't get it to do it anywhere but on the road at constant rpm under load. won't do it at idle. I hate electrical problems. bullshit dunno

I can't believe the dodge ****. glad you caught everything before it got really bad. Now you need to score that Black Dodge from potters dad and send whitey packing.

it just got worse. ****ing get to poetter's and look in the snow. new oil leak. also some green. wtf. I pull up, pop the hood and look. the ****ing power steering/hydroboost pump is hanging off the motor by its drive mechanism. its hard mounted and direct driven off the same gear that drives the injection pumps, so its back on the side of the block...hanging loose. I wired it up to drive home and HOLY ****. idled for 20 seconds and a puddle about 1' across on teh ground. I'm just going to let it hang for the rest of the day now the green....I don't know where that's coming from. when it rains it pours, but at least that's 3 bad luck things and they come in 3's, right. ??? laughing

just talked to the dealer, to get poetter's dad's truck I need to get 3k down and sell the white dodge to afford it. ouch. I have the 3k coming in, but ithad plans. I still lust this truck. mmmm.. 23mpg by the hand. 555 ft/lbs to boot stock. black leather heated crew cab.
