Looks like the Marines are looking to move out of Miramar, and out to 29 Palms.
San Diego gets their big airport out of the Miramar fields. And Johnson's Valley and the Hammers becomes "Restricted Area"

A damn conundrum, I want to say save the land. But as a patriot if the marines need it for training, then take it. Whats y'all opinions?

I think it sucks, I'd want the marines to do more than just claim that they need it. Explain it to me, convince me it can't be dual purpose land.

For the record, every crack and crevice out there is potential trail. No need to ask the govt if you can make one either.

If they lose some or all of the trails, there is plenty more land to make new ones.

DOnt get me wrong, this would suck, but it is not as bad as it looks IMO.
