I have an 86 pickup and I did a solid axle swap and I want to know what others have done about th front drive line? I have 4" springs up front.

what about it? are you asking about what people have done to make one/have one made? mine is just a cut down rear driveline out of an 88' 4runner

What cv are you useing if used? What did you make the drive line with? I want to make a square one but cant get enought drop in my cv.

I've seen his truck. The toyota cv's dont flex enough to get all the way down to the axle. The axle is in the stock location with 4" springs, marlin SAS kit and a single case. We held an ifs front and an '83 front to it and the cv wouldnt allow the droop.

i didnt use a CV,if you get the right ends it would be fine.
i used 2x2x1/4 and 2 1/2x2 1/2x1/4 reciever tubing

Just get a rear drive shaft and cut it down--as long as your front end doesnt walk forward that will work--otherwise you will need a long slip....

I have a cv on the front of the F-toy... used a early front shaft cv and had best drive lines in everett put heavy wall tube on it..(thank god!):awesomework:
