Some Ideas and Help Needed

Guys, don't know if you say this but Dan is doing another Fabstock http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=719900. He hit me up and aked me if we would help with security for event to keep parts from walking off like last year. You guys game for that? I told him we would also like to shoot pics and right a story for the site.

I was thinking the other night about ways we can get some coverage/exposure for the local shops around here. I was thinking about doing a Shops of the Southeast deal for the site where we could showcase different shops in our area. Similar to what Nolen did for BTF on PBB. I was going to start with EOR since I have to go back and get my rig. But I think between our members we could cover WOD, ColeWorx, ORC, EOR, BTF, etc.

Just thought it would be a cool way to get more people to the site and exposure for shops we consider friends.

What do you all think?

Sounds like a good idea for promoting the locals, I was not around for the last one, so can you give me some details on what happened and what we did? :dunno:

We did nothing, we had no club and the event was held in Dothan. He basically builds a rig and lets people watch. There are tons of vendors there that do giveaways and tons of people all around the shop, which means people walked away with products since there was only so many staff to police. He has less employees now and needs help making sure **** does not get stolen.

I'm so happy about this event. I love helping out for a good cause! I'll either be shooting for CRAWL or Dan, not sure yet.

I think thats a fantastic idea and Im into helping out any way possible. Good idea on the shop exposure Matt, I know alot of shops are feeling the crunch and the ones "local" to us that you mentioned really dont get the exposure they should.

Great idea.

I think if we as a club dont stay involved in the local and internet off road community , we are just falling by the wayside.

"we" Partied like some damn craziess at the last one, it was ridiculous .... but a damn good time was had and we all meet a ton of great folks as well as hung with some friends from all over we dont see often enough :afro:

Oh yeah we did party with just about all the peeps that make this board what it is today. It was pre-Hardline though, so as a club we did not have a role in the event. It will be much cooler this go around in Bham!
