Soooo, I quit my job at Full Force Diesel...

Just giving everyone a heads up, I had a dispute with management about commission that was getting taken away with no heads up. I helped start the shop with the verbal deal of making commission on the shop stuff, everything that went through there to be exact. They felt the need to take my commission away without a heads up and I had to find out on my own. At first I thought it was just missed but then it started getting to be a lot less per week! When I confronted them about it I was told we would talk about it but it kept getting put off (meanwhile I was not getting anything from the shop) then finally I had to corner the "boss" and was told things have changed. That's fine and dandy but change happens after a heads up not behind my back. Life lesson: never trust the word of another, or even a handshake. Always get it wrote down on paper and both parties sign it!

This forum was a big part of starting up the shop with a lot of people coming up and having things done. If anyone needs ANYTHING please let me know as now I have a family that is depending on my success!

I am sure you are happy in Tennessee, but if you bring a real diesel shop to North Alabama, you will earn business like crazy!

Thanks! I have a few options I'm working with now to work from the house . I do not want to be just another diesel parts pusher, and anyone who has talked me before knows that!

Yeah man, time to open up yer own chit and be the shotcaller! You can give yourself raises that way lol. No doubt it would flourish though. Best of luck to you man. If I owned a diesel, I wouldn't do a lick of business with them for doing you that way. You're a good dude, so :flipgotcha:

This couldn't be more true. There is no good diesel shop in Alabama like there is in TN. Set up shop somewhere around Birmingham and do work!

Edit- Or Auburn. Come on down to Auburn!

That sucks man, sounds like they screwed themselves.

We need a tech, especially somebody that can work on diesels, Hinos and 1 ton wreckers.

dang Matt. North alabama would be a great spot for a shop. Not very many good diesel shops around. I think you like mainly fords but do you do cummins as well? Send me a contact number and i'll try and send you some business.

That probably wasn't a good move by them to destroy their relationship with Hardline by screwing you over.

I have got a crazy amount of support not to mention 6 big diesel shops contacting me right now! Just an FYI, I work in the office as a sales rep, I have the knowledge on the major three but really do not work on them myself much…Unless its a 7.3L or 12 valve

. I am willing to help anyone out though that needs it! Ask Brock, I can work on them but i prefer to keep my hands purdy… ;D

Ill let you all know how it works out and what the plan is! Last night the wife said, "I have always wanted to live in Alabama!"
