anyone got a pipe that you use to put a speedy sleeve on an axle that i can borrow? it needs to reach all the way to the flange, and the inside diameter needs to be between 1.915" and 2.05".

jesus 2", what are you using rockwell?
any 2" pipe will get you're 2" ID

I'm guessing the axle isn't 2", just where the bearing rides, and that's probably where the seal goes?????

And Darius is right. Pipe is measure by I.D. (inside dimension) and Tube is measured by O.D. (outside), so any piece of pipe should work.

But before you go buy a hunk of pipe, why don't you just use a bearing press? That's how the bearings got installed anyway. (assuming I'm acurately describing what you are wanting)

its where the seal seats, all the way at the end of the axle. the measurements are of the shoulder on the repair sleeve.

yup. the one that mounts in the bearing carrier.

Every axle has a groove worn from that seal, don't worry about it. You have an inner seal that keeps the oil in the housing, and the bearing has it's own seals. That last one just keeps dirt out.
