Spektrum DX2.0 to DX3.0 conversion

I tried this and it seemed to go just fine got finished now the remote will not even turn on any help

If you got the resistor too hot it may have killed the resistor?

Never heard of this mod, do some web searching, see what others who have attempted it have experienced. Maybe you'll find something, but it seems like a pretty risky mod to attempt, but a great trick if you can get it figured out.
