I say it jokingly on occasion, generally with my buddies, normally in a patriotic sense, sometimes to lampoon rednecks/white trash. I've explained what I think a redneck/white trash is in another thread. I'm not offended. I'm offended by a nag burning or stepping on a flag. I was not "offended" by the use of a flag as a roof, but did comment on proper usage of a fabric flag originally made to fly on the wind. Offended bitches and "looking out for your country and people in general" are different.
