hello all i was wondering how much lift a soa and respringing my leafs would do on a 72 blazer. also will i need to buy anything if i do this. thanks for the help

All the 1972 Blazers I have seen already have the springs on top of the axles. What are you trying to do ?

You will need to purchace lift springs for this rig, as the springs are already over the axles on these rigs,as Crazy daze said. An entire lift kit can be bought pretty reasonable, In fact I thought there was a set of 4" front springs cheap,in the "suspension" section; then you could shackle flip the rear, find shocks, lengthen drivelines, brakelines, correct steering, etc...

so if i got a lift will the spring in the front be made to go over or under the axle. i am just trying to make this a reasonable wheeler while im getting a trail rig going. this was me and my dads project before he left, so now im here trying to learn stuff with out anyone but yall. thanks for the help

If the springs are over the axle now, they will be over the axle when you install a lift kit. Whatever the size lift you buy, say 4" will lift your rig that much.

ok so i went over to my old house to see if it is over axle f/r and it is lol. is there any other things i need to do besides lift it for it to wheel ok. i want to run 35 m/t. i was thinking 4.10 gears but i dont know if there needed right now im running 3.73
thanks for helping me out

Depends on how extreme you plan on gettin' ; I ran 6" lift; 3:73's w/ 35" BFG Muds for several years, and it worked fine on my '75 Chev Shortbox for what I did then(DD/weekend wheeler)....
