Who all out there has built there own spring and shackle mounts?

i have a 4 inch lift for my toyota and have to move the spring mounts

lol, ironically I just called it a night for the same reason, I was working on some rear sprintg hangers for the rear to accomidate my 5" Allpros, I took a 1 ft. piece of 1/4" thick 3.5" x 4" box tubing, cut it diagonally and drilled 9/16 holes for the bolt, well. when we were getting ready to weld it all into place, we noticed that the bolt was cockeyed. :wtf: So.. Looks like a new peice of metal tommorow and redue the whole process.. yaaaaay! its not that hard, just make sure to use a drill press when drilling the holes..

That last pic is the same design I decided to go with, cuz as you get hung up on a rock with your rear spring hanger, the rock will slide down the slope and past the hanger.. But make sure you box it in. Last, this was mentioned earlier which I forgot to mention, Drill before cutting

check with the mopar dealer, IIRC they have them with multiple (spring bolt) holes for under 20, that will save shipping.

Yah, that is a good deal.. But $5 and a little elbow grease and some math is an even better deal, plus it can give you a sense of pride.. I would go the trail-gear way if I didnt have power tools redily available though.. But that just my 2 cents.
