Sprint wireless.....anyone have it?

Just curious at how bad it really is.. I had verizon for a long time up until this time last year and got tired of wife bashing them and wantin to goto att. We'll I gave in and now we drop calls everyday or the dang thing wont even ring half the time. I get blamed for screening my wifes calls lol...sometimes yeah but sometime it really dont ring ;D

I thought about trying sprint even though I KNOW its not as good as verizon or att BUT, I heard you basically roam off verizon and dont get charged for it so in the end the sevice should be good, right???

Also the data plan, i was told you have a limit as to how much you can get roaming off verizon. So I was just wondering if anyone on here has Sprint and could put there 2cents in on it. Do you have a certain amount of mins to roam and a certain MB limit on data?

I have sprint and I am looking at verison. I live north of Nashville and with sprint i rarely have service and can usually only text and get voicemails. Everyone that comes to the house with verison always has full service here. so for me where I do most of my calling verison makes sense. if I lived in nashville it would be great with sprint. We are on the family plan with 1600 shred minutes and unlimited data plan for $140 a month with three phones with all access.

i live in tuscumbia....right out of florence/muscle shoals, al. Verizon seems to be the no brainer here too but i just thought if sprint used verizons towers it would all be the same and cheaper but I just dont know what all the roaming and limits on the roaming involved.

verizon wireless IS the largest cellphone company for a reason. they have the best phones with the fastest download speeds. as well as the best coverage. go back to verizon and never look back.

My friend is on sprint. He roams everywhere. no biggie, except when he is on roam (my wife too) most of her features don't want to work, and the phone cycles from roam to regular in a fringe area and kills the battery in a matter of hours. gay

That's funny since Sprints HQ is 30 miles north laughing1 I always hated sprint, but they finally have amazing rate plans. Service sucks up here. I'll stick with ATT even though I can't block #'s

I had verizion several years ago, got tired of them jerking me around on my bill so . I have sprint now, unlimited everything $76 month, yes they use verizion's towers and I don't think their signal is all that good since I drop calls at home all the time and my neighbor never does. For the most part I'm pretty happy with them, but 90% of the time I'm in the city/suburb areas. If you do go with sprint stay away from their samsung phones, they suck azz. :

thanks for the helpful info. I guess I could try it and cancel it before the 30 days if it really sucks. I wish they would give you a "loner" phone to try for a month first. That way you could still have your old plan as a backup
