You guys having steering arm issues with H2's? Just wondering because these things have HUGE backspacing..... I was plannin on solid knuckles and hi-steer arms, will I have issues?

H2's ... nah man as long as you dont have some insanely long arms you'll be fine with them . I have put BTF, PSC and other arms on without issues. I do have a set I got from Chad that are very long and they would have needed to be cut back cause the fuggers would hit sidewall but other than that I havent ran into an issue with the H2's. ( 17" aluminum wheel )

Thanks P, I was reasearching to find pics of h2's on fullwidth then saw a few ppl posting up about steering clearances and crap. Ah owell!! Good to know that they work for you guys.

Also, do you think it's worth it to save and get the keyed arms/knuckles right off the bat or just run the non keyed version? I have seen several bolts shear off so I was planning on going keyed--but I didn't know if there was a po-man's fix for that.

I'd run regular arms from the start and upgrade as time/$$ some around. I am sure Kelly has arms or can make arms for not a ton of coin?? :dunno: Then again I F'ed up a bunch of **** on my 44 when I lost my steering studs.

I guess if I went cheap I could be on those axles in no-time. I just hate re-doin **** that I did half-assed the first time. (see shackles that are still on truck) cause I'll prolly leave whatever's done on there till they break laughing1

If you can afford it, then go for it. I do things in stages....several stages

trufax. I get a deal on stuff from them, we'll just see. I still gotta drop down the fat coin on tires before swappin over so we'll see

Anything else I need to look out for when swappin my **** over? I know I need to address the 30 spline outers--that will happen soon after tires. I take it you guys would do 35 spline and ujoints before you'd do knuckles right? :woody:

I would go 35 spline first. plus it's cheaper no?

shafts first. I broke my stock ones right away. still on stock knuckles.

Cool... Will do shafts first then.

You got any steering arms layin around? Fab some up? how much cheddar?

If I have to put on a spare I have to run one of Kelly's spacers.

Kelly dont forget to bring spacers to race.

I agree one outters first... first trip out on my 60 I broke the outter doin nothing special and it pissed me off so bad cause I was thinking I spent all this time and money and had me something laughing1

that wasnt the crawl run after the BTF build was it?

Seems like the reviews have gone Superior, Alloy, Yukon... What's not gonna leave me broke buyin new shafts?

I like Alloy for the simple fact that they really stand by thier product from what I have seen . Im running Yukons and so is pretty much all the rest of us and we have been having good luck with them , Matt O has popped one when in Clayton. Keith at ORC local to us has a great relationship with Randy's so he hooks up on the warranty's and carry's the shafts in stock ( same day swap r ro )
