Steering Cooler Location?

Ive ordered a Derale 15" cooler for my steering and Im trying to figure out where it needs to go. Im not shure if it needs to be on low pressure side between the resivoir and the pump. Im running a double ended ram with a stock ps pump. Ive read that theres not supposed to be more than 16" between the resi and pump
Any info would be a big help.

I've got a psc remote resivoir just got a stock pump with no resivoir on it for now.
