Stock ZJ Drag Link Q

Does a stock ZJ drag link have a bend from the factory? Looks like the bend is for clearing the steering stabilizer from the trac bar.

The bend is forward (away from the axle) after the steering stabilizer castle nut and before the alignment adjusterthingy......by the threads.

Nope. Steers straight and steering wheel is straight. But the adjuster:redneck:thingy was loose at the end where the bend is.:eeek:

The tie rod is not bent......it's "deflected".:redneck:

Funny part is---had one on the rack today and I looked at the steering and I cannot recall if it was bent or not.

Goto Napa ask if the have any of those in stock.

If they do, ask if you can see it...check if its bent like yours...if it is tell them that it looks like the wrong one and leave. If it is bent buy it and put in back of ZJ as a spare.

They normaly do have a bend there, it is hard to tell from the pics but it looks like it is bent a little more than normal.

It's ok.....I broke the front driveline CV anyways. Not a money day......
