I am super excited to see the positives from hard work on the trails and little bit of running my mouth. The staff and a few volunteers have greatly improved the park over the last two years. With the addition of a Hardline Ride, we are going to try and have a couple more planned work days to open up a few more trails and get some trails widened for the full sized crowd. April 18th in the year of our Lord 2015, we will be cutting and clearing trails. Anyone that would like to attend is more than welcome. If you are not comfortable running a saw, or just don't have one, that's ok. We usually hand roll everything we cut off of the trail and we have never had too many people to help.
We try to meet half an hour before the park opens and work full tilt until we finish up the day's activities. Typically we work for six or so hours, but Bobby (expensive dreams) has been known to keep me there over 10 hours. The work is very rewarding and typically, the people doing work on the trail get to help name it. Unless you are Sir Eric Hagan, and you get to name ten due to wit and motormouthitis
Anyhow, feel free to come help out, ride after the work is done and get to know the park and staff a little better.
