Street Legal 1966 Bronco Buggy
Location: Canton, MS
Price: $35,000 OBO

This is just a feeler thread to see if anyone out there is looking for a street legal, street drivable, top shelf rock crawler.

I don't want to sell this buggy but I have found myself using my RZR-4 on the trails now and not the buggy. If this thing was not street legal, I would be 100% for selling, but since it is so nice to drive, I love having it.

This buggy was professionally built by AFW Motorsports and is an extremely clean and well put together Bronco.

Has clear Mississippi title as a 66 bronco & is currently registered/inspected as such.

The Bronco has 4300 miles on it. I have put 1000 miles on it since I purchased it. Mostly on the street. I have wheeled it twice since April.

All the parts were NEW when built in 2005. It would cost well over $100,000 to build a buggy like this today.

The fit/finish on this buggy is as good as any custom vehicle I have ever seen. It rides and drives like a hot rod. I have had it up to 100 mph many times with one hand on the wheel. It tracks great, stops great and corners nicely. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country.

This is the current condition of the buggy except I have recently painted the axles. I will get pics of the undercarriage when it warms up.

Is it Clayton approved?

I could take it anywhere in Clayton. The body is narrowed 8" and it seems to sneak around the bad ****. The guy who had it built for him scratched it up in a few spots so it has been used. I did not put any scratches on it.

Jace Baker the guy I got it from flopped it on Green Momba being the non-driver he is ;D It did not do any damage.

The only thing this thing does not like is super steep verticals.

100" wheelbase and a 3 link.

I did manage to figure out a way to hook up the winch for suck down and it helped a ton.

You are super gay for selling this rig. Can you really not keep anything? This is a great multi-purpose rig. If it is still around in a few months I may have to get it from you.

I am finished for the foreseeable future. I am going back to my roots and wheeling my Land Cruiser and RZR4 with my wife and kids. I just don't want to go on wheeling trips with the guys anymore. If it does not involve the family, I just don't have the desire to go anymore. Jim was my family and when he died, this part of me died too. Carl sold out....I just have no motivation to pack up and drive 10 hours, wheel 10 hours and drive home.

I am just driving this thing around on the street. I can't justify a $35,000 street bronco right now.

I can tell you this though....I love this Bronco. I really do. It is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. It drives like a dream.

The narrowed body keeps it out of the bad stuff. Hell, nothing in the SE is bad so that is not really an issue molaugh

I fixed your picture album URL, it was broken due to link fail.

I am just giving you ****, because that is all you ever give anyone. I may sell my rig at some point this year to get into a dual-purpose rig. If you still have this I may hit you up

If it was August, I'd be going to the bank! I love that rig :drinkers:

Good luck with the sale Nolen. It sounds to me like you need to make some new friends to wheel with though! I wish it was Louisiana street legal cause you and i'd be talking! Tires stick out WAY too far for Louisiana driving......ask me how I know.

**** son, get you some mudflaps......or some of them skinny boggers :)

Re: Street Legal Buggy, King 2.5" Coilovers, Krawlers, Atlas, 4 seater, Dynatrac

That thing is Pimp. I would love to have it.

Re: Street Legal Buggy, King 2.5" Coilovers, Krawlers, Atlas, 4 seater, Dynatrac

LOL I tried everything when I had a dual purpose short of John Deere full tire fendors and still racked up the tickets!! Got to the point that the same cop sat at one of three spots i'd have to pass daily and we'd see if what I did was legal or not.....It was never good enough.....coarse he drove a ricer on his days off that still could not keep up with my Jeep :****:

Perfect for my current situation, but unless you've developed a new lust for bucket trucks, tree chippers, or cable plows, I'll have to keep wheeling the Campbell buggy. :****:
