I've been working on getting everything sorted and a tag on my dirt bike. Finally got the personal tag in the mail yesterday.

For those that didnt know. Its an 05 XR650R ( not street legal ) Converted, inspected and now titled and tagged.

I've been playing with gearing alot ( sprockets ) to find the good compromise between HWY speed and still being able to trail ride technical stuff. Right now its 15T/44T which is good for 100mph+ but I havent had it off road with the 15T up front ( was 14T ) Pictured above is 14T/47T which is pretty good on hwy and badass offroad.
Ive put about 750miles on it and just got an Interco ( thats right... woom pow ) TeraFlex tire used from a guy for 30bux that Im going to try on the back. Its a monsterous tire, basically the equivalent to the SX's on the buggy laughing1

Very nice my friend.

4 more college classes and a buggy and I might can get me one booyang

I did all the conversion stuff with a kit from bajadesigns , it was way to easy. The funniest part was when I went to the courthouse to get it inspected. With all the drama that jefferson county is having the lines are stupid. People getting there and camping on the steps stupid. I got there about 6:10am and was easily 100 people back. This homeless guy had gotten there he said at 3:30 got in line and had been tryin to sell his spot. He didnt have a car so everyone knew he was getting out of line so no one bit. Well knowing how bad it was when he offered the spot to me ( 6th person through the door ) for 20 bux I was like hellz yea ! Best 20 bux I ever spent because even being 6th through the doors it took 2hrs. I would have never gotten to the window let alone got the inspection/title app completed ! :woot:

Even on a good day Jefferson County lines was crazy. I know Gardendale has an Annex now. But don't know if they cover inspections..

Gdale has an satellite office, problem was I think they shut them all down for a few months to cut budget. So the only place you could go was downtown....

Yep after standing in line for 2.5hrs and getting shuffled back and forth from Finley to the courthouse one time already i made lots of phone calls and the downtown courthouse was my only option. PITA... yes , worth it, fawk yes ! booyang :woot:

Its actually very easy to tag a dirtbike in Alabama.... Hell you could tag a CR500R if you wanted to. :****:

I just love the spot buying ****, that's funny. My time is worth way more than that per hour most days if I'm at work, I don't see why you wouldn't drop a $20 on an hour plus savings. that's badass

I dont take a day often off very often at all.. .so yea i didnt want to waste anymore of my time at the DMV then I had to. thumb.gif

don't need to tag farm implements and ATV's out of city limits in Kansas... We can ride our quads all around where I live but I wanna ride to work in Lenexa! haha...
